Desde Enero de 2012 nos ha comenzado a llegar la edición mensual del Fanzine DIY punk, Maximum Rock’n Roll editado en Estados Unidos. Ya tenemos disponible los primeros 2 números de este año (Enero y Febrero), próximamente saldrá el número de marzo, que esperamos que pueda estar disponible en la tiendita aproximadamente la quincena del mes correspondiente y así a medida que transcurre el año deberían ir llegando todos los números.

MRR#346, the March 2012 issue, features rad German punkers, BÄRCHEN UND DIE MILCHBUBIS, as our cover stars. They play a dark, urgent, yet somehow charming and goofy style of punk. Check out their 25 year old video below! They are joined in this issue by Hazard, Kentucky’s only punk, the one-man-maniac-band, GLOBSTERS! We also have a manic destruction tour diary penned for us by Australia’s own KRÖMOSOM on their 2011 tour of Japan. (It involves GAUZE — you will not be disappointed…) Meanwhile, WHO KILLED SPIKEY JACKET puts the glue back into punk, making sure Boston stays nasty, and NIGHT BIRDS put the HC back into NJ. We finish up this issue with a look at the world of DIY record labels, featuring Neil from Tribal War, plus Give Praise Records and Refuse Records. MRR #345, The February 2012 issue, is finally here! With sick cover art by Mr. Alex Ratcharge, it’s the always epic year-end top ten issue, when all your favorite MRR shitworkers, reviewers and columnists opine about 2011′s best DIY punk releases. And that’s not all. We have interviews galore, starting with the artist behind the CRASS symbol, Dave King, Swedish cult favorites TERRIBLE FEELINGS, New Jersey’s own epic BIG EYES. We’ve also got the second and final part of the tour diary of local Bay Area hardcore warriors ZERO PROGRESS — an epic in itself! It doesn’t stop there… we head up north to talk to UNRULED, legendary Canadian hardcore destruction from the early 1980s, and RAPID LOSS who are keeping the HC mutated in Canada now! All o’ that plus the usual array of columns to get enraged by, and the most extensive review section in punk rock print media!

This month we have Austin, TX’s furious garage punk brutes the OBN IIIs, San Francisco’s hardcored-by-death savants the NEO CONS, we have Brazilian brutality courtesy of SOCIAL CHAOS, some Midwestern crust from WARTORN, some D-beat destruktion from Boston’s BLOODKROW BUTCHER, Australian noize mutators, the attractively named VAGINORS, the legendary WRETCHED, architects of Italian hardcore! Plus we got street punk from SLICK 46 and the TOUGHSKINS who interview each other, a report on the UK’s Means to an End fest, as well as the final SHITTY LIMITS show, and part one of a two-part tour diary from the Bay Area’s ZERO PROGRESS. On the print front we’ve got an interview with No Gods No Mattresses zine and a talk with the awe inspiring Alice Bag about her new book Violence Girl!
